"La Casa De Madera" Near the El-Ceritto boarder is a custom handcrafted tiny/small house that is unique and one of a kind. Designed and built by Conscious Construction, this house was built largely from reclaimed, re-purposed, and custom milled wood. Occupying a wonderful small piece of land where an eighty year old carriage house once stood. The original redwood siding from the carriage house was re-purposed and now clads some of the interior walls of the house giving a feel and texture you rarely see. The new house has magnificent San Francisco Bay views. Designed to capture the views of the Golden Gate Bridge and the beautiful sunsets overlooking brooks island and the expansive bay views. It was also designed to provide privacy with all the comforts of a home. From the easily accessible sleeping loft you can enjoy wonderful southern views with a glimpse of both the Bay Bridge and the Golden Gate Bridge. The kitchen has a two burner gas stove with a beautiful live edge counter top empathizing the organic feel of the space. Custom tiled shower and Alaskan yellow cedar clad the bathroom walls.
